I'm Broňa, an enthusiastic English teacher from Brno who helps people fall in love with English and I would like to introduce my new book.
It may surprise you, but I hated school from a young age. Probably because I didn't like her at all. Especially languages. Every dictation for 5. Proposal to transfer to a special school. Dyslexia. Eight years of German and a blank in the head. At 18 I start working as a factory worker and I am happy that I don't have to learn anything anymore. End of the story. And you know what? I ended up studying English at college, with a red diploma, took the CPE and gave it a Pass A, which is the highest level of English they measure in Cambridge.
I then taught English in Oxford for several years in successive summers, and in London I gained the highest non-university globally recognised qualification for English language teachers, DELTA. I teach as an adjunct at Masaryk University, train teachers and have the largest English-focused YouTube channel in the Czech Republic, as well as the most studied online English course in the country. Why am I telling you all this? To show off? Not at all! The main thing I'm saying is that if I did it, anyone can do it. So are you. Seriously. If you want to, of course. And in my book, I'll show you how to do it.
If you will allow me, I will be your guide on the way to wonderful English in this book. We will look at all the important areas of English, but also how to learn, how to find motivation and how to persevere. I'll be sharing all my best tips, tricks, advice and recommendations with you. I'm not keeping anything to myself. We'll talk not only about how to fall in love with English, but also about how to make that love last.
