Fatboy Slim is one of the pseudonyms of an eclectic British musician and DJ whose civic name is Norman Quentin Cook. In the eighties he worked in the band The Housemartins (big hit Caravan Of Love), later he founded the band Beats International, used the nickname Pizzaman and played in the popular Freak Powe .

Under the name Fatboy Slim, he became famous in the 1990s, when he became a leading figure in the nascent offshoot of electronic music known as the big beat, which was characterized by the so-called breakbeat and synthesizer-generated areas previously used by acid house.

Fatboy Slim has released several key albums on which the listener will find a number of dance hits. These are the songs The Rockafeller Skank, Praise You, Right Here Right Now or Weapon Of Choice . Also popular are remixes created by Fatboy Slim for the Beastie Boys, Cornershop or Groove Armada.
