Fiddler - DVD

Lidunka, the niece of the rich butcher Mastílková, and Jeník, the son of the shoemaker Kroutil, love each other. Her aunt, however, urges her to marry Herr von Dudek instead of Jeník. Lidunka writes Dudek a letter telling him to forget about her. Her aunt, however, hands the letter to Jeník. Dudek keeps wooing the girl and Lidunka finally accepts his wooing. It all culminates at a Sunday celebration called Fidlovačka, where the true identity of Mr von Dudek is revealed and where the blind musician Mareš sings the song "Where is my home".
