Fikejz Daniel: Dog Watchmaker - CD

“I recorded this album for my own pleasure, and perhaps it might bring pleasure to someone else too.”

As is usual in my work, I used both electric and acoustic instruments, both live and programmed. Throughout the whole album, I tried to aim for PLAYFULNESS. I deliberately avoided composing in the way that is common today, where you select a suitable rhythm and groove, and the song begins and usually ends on that foundation. I gladly returned to the days when songs were supposed to have some development and surprises. I am consciously building on the work of the early (instrumental) and later (song-based) Combo FH, in both music and lyrics.
