Flaming Lips: Soft Bulletin (Companion Disc) - CD

The Flaming Lips released The Soft Bulletin in 1999. The album was widely acclaimed, as the band abandoned their earlier heavy garage sound in favor of more arranged and layered songs. Various rarities are now available that were made at the time of the release of this successful album. These are mainly alternate mixes of songs from the original album and songs that didn't fit on The Soft Bulletin.

The Flaming Lips are one of the most respected alternative rock bands of the last two decades. They are renowned for their quirky sense of humour, unconventional attitudes and unquenchable appetite for experimentation. In June 2012, for example, they set a world record for the number of concerts played in a day, managing to play eight shows in 24 hours!
