Fleret: The best / Kurnikšopa tožtojo! - CD

A selection of the best and most famous songs from the folk-rock “Wallachian” group Fleret, released in 2001.

Fleret is a folk-rock music group. The folk singer and folklorist Jarmila Šuláková often performed with the group from 1994, when the CD Zafúkané was released. Vlasta Redl also played with the band in the nineties.

The band Fleret from Vizovice is a permanent fixture on the Czech music scene. In over thirty years of its existence, it has nurtured three generations of fans and has more than ten studio albums to its name, several of which have achieved gold and platinum sales. Thanks to its clearly recognisable sound, which needs no classification or pigeonholing, and its straightforward, distinctive lyrics, mostly penned by Mr Mysliveček and Mr Mrlík, Fleret clearly references its strong Wallachian roots.

Sung and performed by Fleret: Zdeněk Hrachový, Stanislav Bartošík, Vladan Heča, Vladimír Mokráš, Květoslav Balšán.
