Florence And The Machine: Lungs

LP Record The best way to imagine Florence's persona is as a huge pile of contradictions: She's as tough as nails and anxious at the same time, a bundle of nerves where passion, darkness, and absolute joy intertwine. "I already feel things so intensely, which is why music has to be such an intense experience for me. I'm either completely devastated or overjoyed; I'm tired or totally feverish from it all. In that latter state, I can definitely find the best new ideas, but it's also the most dangerous emotional state. It either results in a few good songs, or perhaps a few broken hearts. Or broken tables. Or glasses."
