Flowers: Comedian until half past seven - CD

This album from the current star of alternative music, Brno band Květy, contains twelve new songs and is released on CD and LP. In terms of expression, the band is once again moving to higher spheres, thanks in large part to major changes in its instrumental line-up. Bassist Ondřej Čech and violinist Albert Novák left the band, replaced by multi-instrumentalist Ondřej Kyas, who is, among other things, the founder and resident composer of the Ensemble Opera Diversa. The sound has consequently shifted from acoustic to more electronic. Apart from their first self-released demo album, almost all of their albums have been nominated for an Anděl Award. They won the award in 2006, 2009, and 2015. Their albums are highly praised in reviews and various radio polls, especially for their strong poetic lyrics, colourful arrangements, and brilliant album cover art. Guitarist and singer Martin Kyšperský also became an actor in the series Trpaslík, and over time, the band has performed live in many European countries.
