Flowers: Kitten and Fever - CD

You'll easily remember this music, because few bands have a sound as original as the Brno-based group Květy. At the same time, you certainly can't say it's simple. Květy creates unconventional acoustic big beat cut with a wide palette of inspiration.

Together with his bandmate Aleš Pilgrim, he has prepared an excellent new album, "Kocourek a horečka” (The Kitten and the Fever), which is full of aphorisms as well as stories. “I'm in love with a lot of poets and writers, both living and dead. The act of writing your feelings down on paper is a game, a relief, and a drug.

Then, the more you read others, the more you perceive the connections, your own smallness. But that's not important; I'm just glad that something simply compels me to write. I have a pen and paper on my bedside table and on trams. The lyrics always come from an emotion that is personal; it's just a matter of how encrypted it is in the final result.”
