Flowers: Missile stopped in amber - CD

The previous album, Kocourek a horečka (The Cat and the Fever), was highly praised by both critics and the general public. This led to the band performing more frequently, which allowed them to gradually prepare and test out new material for their next album. N

It was recorded at Studio Indies in Brno under the supervision of Broněk Šmid, which is a home environment for Květy. The band recorded all their previous albums here as well. The result is eleven songs that are very carefully and adventurously arranged and delivered with captivating inner energy. The urgent vocals deliver lyrics that can be described as pure poetry, their authenticity and refinement having few parallels on the Czech scene. Guest artists on this album include the singer Marta Svobodová, keyboardist and virtuoso trumpeter Milan Nytra, and virtuoso trumpeter Michal Gera.
