Flutes nad Oslavou: Folk Holidays - CD

The album contains 8 compositions in which you will listen to the sound of flutes, which are said to give voice to the human soul and calm the grazing herds.
Internationally respected Dutch player Lisolette Rokyta recognized the Romanian-style Pan flute nai, Mehdi Animian from Iran the Persian reed ney and the "Beskydy chameleon" Marián Friedl the flutes from the Carpathian Mountains.
The accompanying band consists of members of the 11 Forms of Love project, Petra Jelénková (violin, singing), Stepan Flagar (keyboards, electronics), Rost'a Hus (guitars), Martin Kocián (double bass) and Michal Wierzgon (drums).
It was only at the Folk Holidays, however, that their flutes were heard together for the first time in the world in an undoubtedly unique beauty. Flutes usually do not have the main role at summer festivals.
But the organizers of the Folk Holidays in Náměšt' nad Oslavou bet on them. One of the festival evenings belonged to this unique project, which consists of a combination of three real flute virtuosos. The concert took place on 30.7.2021 at the Folk Holidays in Náměšt' nad Oslavou.
