Folk Swings (2x LP) - LP

The album Folk Swings is the result of a unique project by the B-Side Band and producer Josef Buchta, featuring legends of the Czech folk scene and pop personalities.

The album offers legendary original songs in swing arrangements, performed by Ewa Farna, Vojtěch Dyk, Petr Rybíz Toman and others, as well as new versions of songs by deceased authors. Fans can look forward to performances by Vlasta Redl, Jarek Nohavica, Jaroslav Samson Lenk, Radek Pastrňák, Slávek Janoušek, Pokáč and others.

The first taste of the record was the song Kočky (Cats) by Zuzana Navarová and the band Nerez, in a fresh new arrangement by Petr Kovařík, performed by Ewa Farna and Vojtěch Dyk. The combination of Ewa Farna and the B-Side Band proved to be brilliant, not only for the ears but also for the eyes of the fans. The great energy and mood left their mark on the entire track, a fact confirmed by both artists with words of praise for their collaboration and by the impact of the music video on viewers.

The second single from the album will be Pokáč's charming little ditty "Co z tebe bude" (What Will Become of You), to which the new arrangement has added an impressive seriousness.
