Frantisek Nepil: Evelínka the field reaper (1976)

Water and forest women have been featured in fairy tales since time immemorial, but the field woman was invented by František Nepil, a writer, screenwriter and radio lover. Who wouldn't love his narration, which we know from the radio and his books? It is always full of kindness, distinctive humour and poetry. So are his stories about the magic field cloth. In a premiere from the radio archive, we offer an older and lesser-known version of the radio narrative.
