Frič Fricek Milan: I went through strange regions - CD

Milan Frič, who unfortunately died tragically at the age of 61, has released in memoriam a 2CD "I went through strange lands" with his complete works. Fricek was an integral part of the Czech underground, served 15 months for publishing Vokno and then was a thorn in the side of the StB and many "decent people" until 1989. And certainly after that. The double CD contains his solo concerts on his private estate Nová Víska (1979), to his playing in his free time (2002 and 2003). Even with Frick it is clearly shown, as lyrics, that arose from an inner need, not for audience approval or smug display, remain timeless and valid regardless of the regime, that is currently prevailing. It turns out that humanity, the people and man himself unfortunately do not change. And Fricek can be truly ruthless in his judgments. It is true, however, that he may be masking his own inner fragility.
