Friday night bite

You'd think the newspaper headlines would incite the citizens of the Windy City to fight against us, the bloodthirsty. Instead, ten months later, we still have a celebrity status worthy of Hollywood stars. We fend off paparazzi who are only slightly less dangerous than slayers with crosses and stakes. Don't get me wrong… The common folk aren't exactly thrilled about living alongside the undead, but at least they haven't stormed our mansion. Yet. But that could all change when they find out about the raves, or parties, where vampires bring humans like cattle and drain their blood en masse. Most civilised vampires condemn such behaviour. However, for a budding reporter looking to impress his high-society family, it's a juicy story.
