Friedl Marian: Black and White World - CD

Black and White World: an electro-poetic defence of the colourful world of Marian Friedl! Black and White World is an inner confession and response to Marian Friedl's inner and outer crises and another original trace in his musical career. On it he has travelled the road from wood folk with the band RukyNaDudy, through acoustic world music with the trio of Jitka Šuranská, jazz records with the Norwegian-Czech formation NOCZ, his personal fusion of many genres in the projects Beránci a vlci or 11 PODOBOB LÁSKY to the current purely original album with a significant share of electronics and sound design.

Marian Friedl sings, recites and uses a number of instruments from his instrumentarium, such as the Carpathian pipes, double bass, clarinet, gallichon, bagpipes as well. Co-producer and co-star Martin Kocián (among others. known from Nicole Bokova's trio or the Austrian-Czech formation Purple Is The colour) gives Marian's songs a specific sound face by combining acoustics and electronics.
