Gabriela Preiss: Her Pastor (2015)

The new production of Her Pastor was prepared by director Aleš Vrzák with Helena Dvořáková as Kostelnička and Klára Sucha as Jenůfa. Ondřej Brousek and Jiří Vyorálek played the two central male characters, half-brothers Steva and Laca. The director did not go down the path of realistic detailing, but concentrated on the power of words, the essence of dramatic situations and the being and relationships of the characters at their core. A major contribution to the new production is the musical design by Marek Ivanovič, which translates the scenic multiplanarity into a corresponding sound image and thus creates a distinctive radio form.
