Garnet Flats - On the plain

The struggle for a broken heart

Talia Eden loved Foster Madden for one year, two months and eleven days. On day number 438, her love ended. That day, Foster married her best friend. That day, Talia vowed never to think of him again. However, Foster is so presumptuous that he shows up in her home town of Quincy a few years later, begging for her help.
The ink is barely dry on the divorce papers, yet Foster doesn't hesitate to come out with apologies and promises. Talia knows it's all a trick. Foster is the king of games and mystery. But his plans for Talia to help him train for the World Cup match are beyond his wildest imagination. But Talia had forgotten exactly what made Foster famous. He dedicated his life to winning. He's persistent. Determined. And he won't stop fighting until he gets her heart back.
