Geriatric syndromes and the geriatric patient

In addition to geriatricians, the publication is intended mainly for internists and general practitioners, and is useful in general practice and postgraduate studies. The book defines the geriatric patient, describes the peculiarities of this group of patients and defines the problem using syndromology. The use of geriatric syndromes can then help clinicians better describe frail geriatric patients, their health problems, risks and needs.
