Glenn Miller: The Hits

LP Record Glenn Miller (1904–1944), a trombonist, arranger, composer, and big band leader of the swing era, was the best-selling recording artist from 1939 to 1943. He led one of the most famous big bands and was celebrated on both sides of the Atlantic. In just four years, Miller scored 23 hit records, which is more than Elvis Presley and the Beatles achieved in their entire careers. His sudden death in a plane crash at the age of 40 only added to his legendary status. This set features Miller's greatest hits, including "In the Mood", "Moonlight Serenade", "Pennsylvania 6-5000", and many more.
