Gorillaz: The Now Now - CD

Shortly after the release of their album Humanz, the most famous virtual band in the universe is back with another new album. The record was produced in February 2018 by the duo James Ford and Remi Kabaka, and the list of guests is nowhere near as extensive as on Humanz. It is available on CD, LP, and a Deluxe LP Boxset, which, in addition to the 12" vinyl, includes bonus visual material, six badges, and a digital download card.

Behind the animated foursome Gorillaz are singer Damon Albarn and comic book artist Jamie Hewlett. The band was created in 1998, and its members are the cartoon characters 2D (vocals and keyboards), Murdoc (bass guitar), Noodle (guitar, keyboards), and Russel (drums and percussion). Each character has their own virtual history; the two creators have built a complete world for the band. Their 2001 self-titled debut sold over 7 million copies and was nominated for the prestigious Mercury Prize. Gorillaz later went on to win a Grammy and other awards.
