Grateful Dead: Anthem Of The Sun - LP

A reissue of the band's second studio album. The recording was newly remastered in 2018 and is now available on CD or LP.

This legendary rock band from San Francisco was formed in 1965 and is one of the key representatives of the golden age of rock music. At the turn of the sixties and seventies, they became famous for their long and wild improvisations during live performances.

Their work incorporated influences from a wide range of musical styles, from rock and psychedelia to folk, bluegrass, gospel, jazz, and even reggae. The band broke up in 1995 after the death of their leader, guitarist and singer Jerry Garcia. In 2007, the band received a Grammy for lifetime achievement.
