Grateful Dead: The Grateful Dead - CD

An anniversary re-release of the legendary rock band's debut album – newly remastered in 2017.

This legendary rock band from San Francisco was formed in 1965 and is one of the key representatives of the golden age of rock music. At the turn of the sixties and seventies, they became famous for their long and wild improvisations during live performances.

Their work incorporated influences from a wide variety of musical styles, from rock and psychedelia to folk and bluegrass, and even gospel, jazz, and reggae. They disbanded in 1995 when the band's leader, guitarist and singer Jerry Garcia, passed away. In 2007, the band received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.
