Green Al: Call Me LTD

LP Record 2023 marks the 50th anniversary of Al Green's sixth album, "Call Me" – a masterpiece often cited as one of the greatest soul albums of all time. Three top-ten R&B hits dominate one of Al Green's finest albums, including the title track, "Here I Am (Come and Take Me)", and "You Ought to Be with Me". This time, he adds a touch of country soul, delivering moving versions of Hank Williams' "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry" and Willie Nelson's "Funny How Time Slips Away".
