It's rare that someone decides to publish a story about the story that preceded it. Academia Publishing was easier in 2018 when they didn't have to hesitate between the first and second volume of my theatre plot-writing and country-writing, but published both books together (the second one for the second time). I dare say this fateful diptych was a great success. Radioservis took the risk in 2019 of releasing the earliest 2CDs of the second book, Yearning for the Blessed: asked MgA. Jan Sklenář for cooperation as writer/director and RNDr. Jan Králík, CSc. as the author of the musical framing. The filming took place in the Hradec Králové Czech Radio. Shortly thereafter, the sky darkened and allowed an epidemic of covid-19. For several long months we lacked culture and audience. After the end of the first wave of covid, when the bans and orders were relaxed, Radioservis contacted us, if we'd like to make the second (actually, the first) part of my diptych, So, no pining allowed, with the exact same cast. Can you imagine, what it meant to all of us, that we could in June, July and August 2020 to speak to the audience again, at least into the microphones, that we're also being filmed, and most importantly, they'll hear! I wish the listeners of this 2CD could hear not only the story telling, but also our enthusiasm and our messages. Thank you.
