Gunman: The Man to Shoot - DVD

Sean Penn plays Jim Terrier, a burnt-out former mercenary and assassin who wants to leave his past behind him. All he wants is to finally settle down with his long-lost love.

But secret services don't let their old flock go that easily. Jim has to clear his name and confront the organisation he used to work for.

He was its enforcer, did terrible things, and was convinced he was helping the world. He was wrong, and his former employers are now trying to kill him. On his heels is the demonic Javier Bardem, who has twice proven he truly knows how to play villains without a shred of conscience (in No Country for Old Men, he murdered people at will without emotion, and in Skyfall, he made life difficult for James Bond himself). A dramatic cat-and-mouse game begins, leading Sean Penn across half the world. He knows there's nowhere to run. The only way to save himself is to kill those who want to kill him.
