Happiness

Jiří Stránský was sentenced to eight years in a fabricated trial - he spent those years in labour camps. There he learned the stories of many men who were inconvenient to the communist authorities of the time and were sentenced to many years of punishment. The stories from his collection Happiness also take place in the environment of the 1950s camps and prisons.
