Hate beyond the grave

Cat, alongside her vampire lover Bones, continues to help a special branch of Homeland Security hunt dangerous undead beings. The situation is complicated by the fact that Cat, a half-human, half-vampire, is becoming a little too famous as the Red Reaper. To make matters worse, her biological father, the sadistic vampire Max, still has a score to settle with her. On top of all that, Bones receives an unexpected offer that’s hard to refuse. His Grand Master, the ancient Egyptian vampire Mencheres, offers him a portion of his power, forever linking their clans. But everything comes at a price, and this seemingly great opportunity hides a danger that could mean not just separation, but death.
