Naomi lives in Oklahoma, Luca is from California. They don' t know each other. They are brought together by chance during a school project when Naomi pulls Luca' s name and address out of a hat. And so they have been pen pals since fifth grade. Well, actually, more like arch rivals, waging a battle full of insults and verbal skirmishes. But what started as a funny chain of hateful letters slowly develops into a long-term, long-distance friendship. Until the day the letters suddenly stop coming. Luca hasn' t spoken to Naomi in several years. Two years have passed since the letter that changed everything. But then, out of the blue, a letter with no return address appears on her desk at the local TV station, and Naomi is determined not to let Luca have the last word. They must track him down!
