Havířovina

A mysterious shackdweller and writer who returns to her native village and uncovers a dark past

Havířovina is a dilapidated house in a small village. It is said to attract everything bad - people die here or bring misfortune to others. And maybe there are ghosts here too... Her mother's seemingly unimportant remark that smoke is once again rising from the chimney of the Havířoviny chimney sparks an urge in the heroine of the novel to find out if something supernatural is really happening in the mysterious and regularly abandoned dwelling. She wants to write a book about it, which, after a bitter life experience and an unsuccessful literary career, should finally bring her her dream success. But on an adventurous journey into the past, he encounters his old fears - and discovers new ones - alongside his alien fate. After all, isn't it the case that if we look inside ourselves, we can each find our own Havířovina?
