The textbook is intended primarily for students of secondary vocational schools with a focus on social care issues. The text of the first volume provides an overview of the basic knowledge of somatology - it introduces the basics of anatomy and physiology of the human body. The text offers the opportunity to master the required minimum of material, each chapter has the same structure, which consists of chapter objectives, outline, the actual study text and practical part.
