Heart of ice

A MASS GRAVE PUTS HER ON THE TRAIL OF A DEPRAVED KILLER…

When the body of seventeen-year-old Kesha Williams is found in a frozen lake near Stillwater, FBI Special Agent Nikki Hunt is called to the scene. The strangulation marks on the victim’s neck are clear evidence of murder. What’s more, the girl was abducted from the same shopping centre where, a year ago, Nikki's daughter was threatened by the serial killer known as Mr Freeze.

The police are convinced the perpetrator is Kesha's boyfriend, Dion Johnson. But Nikki isn’t so sure. The crime scene and the cold-blooded manner of death clearly point to someone who has killed before. Her worst fears are realised when a mass grave is uncovered near the lake.

The agent is thrown into a relentless race against time. The depraved killer has no intention of stopping and has most likely already found his next victim. Can Nikki track him down before it's too late?
