Hegerová Hana: Potměšilý host - CD

Music by Hapek, lyrics by Horáček, singing by Hegerová.
Three names guaranteeing successful quality.

The album from 1987 represents a great item in the discography of Hana Hegerová, at that time for almost three decades at the top of Czechoslovak popular music.
Messrs. Hapka and Horáček wrote twelve songs directly for her with melodies and a dictionary unmistakable, transformed into small song jewels by the singer. Some of them have become hits in the true and correct sense of the word.

In addition to the irresistible Lavender, the evergreens are at least Denim blue or Vana full of violets, all other songs then co-create an exemplary coherent album. A number of excellent young musicians appeared on it, even in terms of style seemingly from elsewhere. Saxophonist Štěpán Markovič, violinist Jan Hrubý, keyboardist Zdeněk Zdeněk, guitarist Michal Pavlíček or bassist Vladimír Kulhánek were easier to assign to rock or jazz, where they helped to make a decent modern mainstream sound.
Hana Hegerová thus moved wonderfully in time and gained new listeners without losing anything of the traditional chanson intensity. The current remastering was reissued.

The CD version contains seven bonus recordings . All of them are with music by Petr Hapka, the lyrics were delivered not only by Michal Horáček but also by Pavel Vrba, Zdeněk Rytíř, Pavel Kopta and Jaroslav Seifert.
