Hints
Jiří Pavlík comes up with another ambiguous collection of poetry. If we are looking for its theme, it is love versus sex, sex versus love. Delving deeper into the almost slogan-like sentences, one can glimpse into the intricate recesses of the soul, full of fundamental questions about the meaning not only of love and sex, but of existence itself. This theme, as if in passing, leads the reader to answers to (what would seem to be their own) escapade of questions. This is the value of Pavlík's intimate poetry. The book is accompanied by congenial photographs by Michal Huvar.
