Good girl

The audiobook Good Girl, by author Kristýna Sněgoňová, read by Viktor Dvořák. The first case for the Merry Truth detective agency. Lukáš used to be the king of crime fiction, but those days are long gone. Now, the burnt-out writer is looking for a way to get back into the limelight. And what better way to find his lost muse than during a real detective investigation? But as it turns out, writing about crime is much easier than trying to figure out where one inconspicuous girl has disappeared to. In the process, Lukáš gets some unexpected help in the form of Ada. Her head may be full of nursery rhymes, but she knows more about the neighbourhood's dirty laundry than anyone else would care to admit. Together, they embark on an investigation built on sharp words and even sharper observations. The washed-up bestselling author discovers that a good writer isn't necessarily a good detective – but luckily, he isn't alone in his search for the truth. The queen of Czech fantasy, Kristýna Sněgoňová, ventures into the field of crime fiction, approaching it with her characteristic humour and ferocity. You're sure to enjoy these crimes.
