Hogs & Václav Koubek: Everyone pours - CD

The Hogs is the name of an Irish band that performed all over the world and hosted in Central Europe for the first time last year. They introduced themselves, among others. at the Eurotrialog festival Mikulov or Trutnov Open Air and sold out several club performances. During their stay in the Czech Republic, The Hogs met with Czech beer, which they praised very much, with accordionist Václav Koubek, with whom they immediately caught eye and agreed to create a joint project: The Hogs is one of the most sought-after ensembles in Ireland itself, dealing with Irish folk music. The Hogs are not imitations, but Irish folklore itself. The Hogs leader Michael Casey even composed a few songs for Shane MacGowan (Pogues). Václav Koubek is again a unique Czech musical autonomy. Dance, guitars, banjo, accordion, bass, the drums and the unceasing Irish energy rolling from the stage are connected with the engaging speech of Václav Koubek and his re-written lyrics of Irish scrapers (mostly love, vagrancy and pub. ).
