Hot Shots - DVD

In the beginning, the commander of Block Air Force Base travels to the prairie to get the return of the best naval pilot, Harley, called Machr, who left the air force due to a phobia caused by his father' s failure twenty years ago. The young man lives among the Indians under the name Měkká Tlapička and refuses to return. However, on the advice of a wise Indian old man, he changes his decision. At the base, he meets not only his colleagues - the squinting pilot Jim Pfaffenbach called Průserář, the dedicated Pete Thompson called Unlucky and Kent Gregory, who accuses his father of his father' s death - but also the sympathetic psychiatrist Ramada Thompson. The pilots are preparing for the secret operation Sleeping Weasel, the aim of which is to destroy the atomic bases of the Arab dictator. The industrialist Wilson wants to introduce his own super-aircraft into its arsenal, even at the cost of sabotage. He will choose the planes preparing for the event. Meanwhile, in a military bar, Ramada meets his former lover Kent and new friend Machr. The evening will end with a fight between the two juices and then the culinary love games of Machra with Ramada. Due to that, however, the pilot misses the morning boarding and the Průserář takes off into the air instead, which causes a terrible accident with its squinting. Nevertheless, the unit flies to the Mediterranean, where they are to prepare for the action on an aircraft carrier. Despite a very poor mental state, Machr is placed at the head of the formation. However, due to sabotage, the pilots cannot hit the enemy, which is solved by Captain Block by telling the numb Machr about his father' s heroism in the earphone, which revolves the pilot and he playfully deals with both enemy aircraft and their base and dictator himself. He returns aboard the aircraft carrier as a true hero in a wreck without a landing gear, fuel and wings, but, disgusted by his unhappy love - he believes that Ramada loves Kent - he returns to the prairie. However, several unexpected surprises await him in the Indian teepee.
