Hot waffles and ice baths

Helena is preparing dinner to celebrate her husband's birthday when she gets a call from a colleague from school, who tells her that she has been having an affair with her husband for two years. Helena's whole world collapses, because she has been betrayed by the one person she trusted most. She makes a drastic decision, leaves the city, abandons her established routine and moves to a secluded spot in the mountains in Härjedalen. She finds herself in a hell of loneliness, burdened by memories of the past and fear of the future. Gradually, however, she finds herself, and when she later meets an energetic young woman named Louise, whom she starts helping in a mountain café, she realises that all her life she has actually wanted to do something completely different.
