Agatha Christie's detective audiobook The Hours
"This crime is so complicated it has to be simple." - Hercule Poirot
Sheila Webb, of the Cavendish Secretarial Agency, turned up on time at 19 Wilbraham Crescent on the instructions of her supervisor. However, as no one answers the bell, the stenographer goes inside to wait for Miss Pebmarsh, who has ordered her services. In the impressive reception room, an unusual number of clocks telling the same time catches her eye: a few minutes before quarter to five, even though it's only 3:00. Except for the cuckoos, the sound of which scares Sheila quite a bit. It is at that moment that the visitor notices the dead body of a man. Then the door creaks open, and after a moment an elderly, tall woman with pale blue eyes looking around the room unseeingly enters and asks: "Anyone here?" The stenographer screams and rushes out, where she falls straight into the arms of Colin Lamb, Hercule Poirot's friend...
