How to Get Rid of a Bride - DVD
Lenka Vlasáková stars as Eva, a modern, dynamic woman who owns a sweet shop, looks after her son, and has to manage her feisty mother (Jana Švandová). She has a great relationship with her ex-husband, played by David Matásek, and as her friend says, “you wouldn't be the first to get divorced and get back together again”. And then they almost kiss, followed by an invitation to an expensive candlelit dinner where Honza finally opens up. He has indeed fallen in love again and is thinking about getting married . . . to someone else!
To Linda, a beautiful, likeable, and intelligent pianist! And what's more, they want Eva to bake their wedding cake. This is just the sort of thing for Eva's unconventional mother. She never gives up, always knows what to do, and ruining someone else's wedding is the perfect challenge. With her combative mother backing her up, Eva goes on a trip with the happy couple. And then there's a family regatta, a race, a brotherly battle for the head position at a dental clinic, a malevolent sister-in-law, and one eccentric opera singer.
