Hunters and Victims - DVD

The film Hunters and Victims is inspired by true stories and real-life situations that you or someone close to you could find themselves in as soon as tomorrow. What do you do when you're caught in an endless spiral of debt? Our main character, Jakub (Martin Kraus), shows us how to get rid of bailiffs. But how do you deal with a gang of the roughest gangsters, led by Jakub Mohamed Ali, from whom you can't hide any money?

Or how do you handle a dirty trick from the tough loan shark Josef Vrána and his assistant Eva Decastelo with their hellish interest rates, which are popping up like blisters in small shoes? Jakub gets help with this from a mafioso with sharp elbows and an incredibly long reach – his "Guardian Angel" Tomáš Hanák, along with his lawyer Marek Vašut and son Pája – Jaromír Nosek, who are covered by a corrupt police officer Zdeněk Mahdal and his colleague Miloš Vávra. This is the playing field where Jakub plays the game of life in the style of SEX, MONEY AND ROCK'N'ROLL.

That is, until the moment he steps over the line – into illegality – under pressure from the debt collectors. At that moment, his run for his life begins. Jakub's problems also affect his parents, Karel Heřmánek Sr. and Veronika Freimanová. His friends Martin Písařík, Karel Heřmánek Jr., the singer EKI, the rapper JAY DIESEL, and even the psychiatrist Zdeněk Podhůrský try to lend him a helping hand. And because the down-on-his-luck Jakub is a real magnet for trouble, he also hits rock bottom in the realm of love with Nikol Kouklová and Eva Marešová. This film will simply change your perspective on life once and for all! Are you ready to see the world as it really is?
