Hussite Epic V

The fifth part of the magnificent historical saga Hussite Epic by Vlastimil Vondruška

The fifth volume begins with a key turning point in the struggle between the Catholics, who are trying to return to the old order, and the Caliphs, led by the young George of Poděbrady, who will take Prague. The time of peace is coming to an end and a domestic war is breaking out. Young Ladislav Pohrobek grows up and takes the Czech royal throne. However, he soon died and after a complicated diplomatic struggle, Jiří of Poděbrady became the new King of Bohemia. A new hostile coalition is forming against Bohemia.

? In this environment, members of the first generations of the Prokop family gradually leave the earthly world and their children take their place. The narrative will again take us to Prague, to Tábor and Písek, to Pilsen and other towns, but also to the manors of Rožmberk and Poděbrady and also to Upper Hungary.
