Hutka Jaroslav: The Past Waves for Us - CD

The album The Past Waves is our fourth album by Jaroslav Hutka and the second with his own songs.
In October 1978, the singer went into exile in the Netherlands. A year later, a recording was made at a concert in Marburg, Germany, from which Hutka selected twelve songs for the record of the Swedish label Saffron 78.
The choice was influenced by the fact that as a fresh exile he still enjoyed free decision-making about his repertoire. He therefore included several politically motivated songs such as At Prague Castle, Tomine, Tomine, Slovakia or Socrates, which he balanced with his famous and applauded hits, such as Tango about Prague, Foreigners, Hallelujah, tram or Náměšť.

Recorded on October 20, 1979 in Marburg
