I promise you.

Dillon McQueen: When will I see you again?
Serena Jensen: Uh, who are you?
There's a legend in Waylon: the first girl you kiss at the bonfire in freshman year is the one you'll never forget. She gets under your skin and awakens such passion in you that you would do anything in the world for her.
You might even propose to her.
But... timing is important. That kiss could go horribly wrong. The girl can get away. And Serena really got away.
Dillon is a star quarterback for Waylon who needs to graduate and make it to the NFL. But what he definitely doesn't need is to meet the girl he kissed around the campfire in his freshman year. Isn't it enough that she haunts his dreams?
Fate laughs in his face when he bumps into her unexpectedly in a shop. Surrounded by his harem of girls, he casually piles all the packages of Oreo cookies she loves into his cart. She reciprocates by buying him the last of his favorite beer.
The legend is definitely a curse. She's not his type, plus she definitely hates him. Even worse, how is it possible that she doesn't remember him when she burned a brand into his heart three years ago?
Why is he still pursuing her despite all this?
Will the new star quarterback get the girl of his dreams, or will he make the biggest mistake of his life?
