It moves from the lack of freedom in the 1970s rock and anti-regime communities to the grim world behind hospital walls, depicted unvarnished in a way few can imagine. The author won several literary awards in his childhood for his work in fantasy and the inner world. Here, he draws on his father's incredibly bizarre experiences, his own harsh reality as a disabled person, and his imagined fantasies.
