Ikarie XB 1 - DVD

"What will people be like in fifty years? And what will they be later, in a hundred, two hundred years? Our story does not and cannot give an answer in its entirety, but it does try to create a picture of the future world as imagined by contemporary science. We're judging, that if a man is a man, will compete and fight for happiness, for recognition, for favors, about a woman, though perhaps on a different plane and without the dirty strokes. ”

The year is 2163 and the Ikaria XB 1 rocket and crew are heading for the planet Alpha Centauri. On his journey, he encounters the wreckage of a 20th century rocket, finds himself under the influence of the Dark Star, and approaches the White Planet.
