Audiobook Il Decamerone
The stories from the Decameron collection by the master of the Italian Renaissance, Boccaccio, are linked by one historical event, namely the plague that struck Florence in 1348. At this point, the narrative begins, with ten young Florentines fleeing the city and settling in a country house. They stay there for two weeks and to pass the time, they decide to choose one topic each day to tell a story about. The audiobook offers 10 selected stories, which are retold in simplified Italian. The texts are intended for intermediate students of Italian and are spoken by a native speaker.
