Ilya Hurnik: Too Much Life

In a holiday cottage that could use a major renovation, the micro-game Too Much Life takes place. In this ironic tale of a man who was about to retire from life in the place where he was born, Hurník confessed his love of cottage gardening and relaxing in nature. The radio plays and short stories of the composer Ilja Hurník, in which he presented the diverse world of music and musicians with irony and humour, gained great popularity among the listeners of Czech Radio. However, in several plays from his late period Hurník left the "domain of the mistress of music" and chose themes from ordinary life. One of his favourites was a purely national phenomenon, quite unique in Europe and the world - cottage industry.
