Imagine Dragons: Mercury, Act I

LP Record Genre-defying and full of substance, Imagine Dragons are releasing their new, fifth studio album in 2021, the fourteenth year of their existence. "Mercury – Act 1" is the successor to 2018's "Origins". This time, the American rock band collaborated with star producer Rick Rubin and Joel Little. They have already released three tasters from the record with the songs "Follow You" and "Cutthroat", and the first official single "Wrecked". The track "Wrecked" was written and produced by singer Dan Reynolds and fellow band members Wayne Sermon, Ben McKee and Daniel Platzman. The powerfully raw song openly tells a story of grief, loss, and moving forward. Reynolds wrote the song shortly after his sister-in-law passed away from cancer.
