Immaculate Conception

What if you could enter another person's mind? At art school, Enka meets Mathilda and is immediately captivated by her personality and work. Mathilda's art seems exceptional and original – and Enka, determined to succeed in a fiercely competitive environment, has high hopes for their friendship. But as Mathilda's growing success and fame begin to disrupt their closeness, a desperate Enka knows she will do almost anything to keep her near. When a revolutionary technology designed to deepen empathy enters their lives, Enka gets the chance to step directly into Mathilda's mind, experience her memories, share her sources of inspiration, and touch her deepest traumas. The procedure would connect them forever. But at what cost? Immaculate is a smart, provocative, and unsettling story about an intense friendship – both tender and twisted – that captures the thin line between love and possession with chilling precision.
